About Us

Obie Products Ltd are proud to announce the introduction of the first foam roller moulded in one piece.

Physiotherapists have used rollers to treat clients  for a number of years.

Rollers are recognised among trainers and sports professionals alike for their numerous health benefits.

Rollers are used to realign posture and avoid the ailments associated with bad posture, such as headaches, muscle tension and strain. People who spend a lot of time sitting at a desk or in front of a computer find great relief through regular use of a roller.

Obie Products Ltd was formed when two foam makers and a physiotherapist met and realised that the New Zealand market was not being informed of the benefits of roller use and that the imported rollers are expensive and not very durable.

The coarse celled foam roller flattens very quickly in use and ceases to be effective. The cross-linked closed cell foam roller is made from sheet foam laminated and cut to shape - a process which wastes approximately 50% of the material.

Obie Products Ltd has been able to source recyclable plastic, this constitutes over 60% of the finished product.

The obie foam roller is moulded in finished form with no waste.

This is Kiwi ingenuity in action

obie foam rollers are available to the public through Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Sports Medicine Doctors, Pilates Instructors and Personal Trainers.
